Before TAP® there were no objective, best-practice models for assessing training design or delivery. 
Trainer performance was variable. Following a 2-year research project, best-practice standards
were developed and the Training Accreditation Programme was introduced in 1998

Extensively developed since, the TAP programme is now benefiting more than 1,400
organisations in 32 Countries - it offers a quality-assured paradigm to all Heads of L&D

Since the Queen's Award recognition in 2005, TAP has been continuously developed. In 2013 a milestone innovation was the launch of the

TAP Certified Assessor programme

This enables employers to have their own internal senior L&D team members trained in TAP's
assessment methodologies

For the first time, employers can now quality-assure that all their L&D activities; design, development, delivery, e-learning and learning transfer etc, are meeting
best-practice standards

This Programme received a second
Queen's Award for Innovation in 2016
