TAP Recertification for e-Learning Design

The Recertification Service provides an opportunity for designers to undergo regular reassessment against the TAP e-Learning Design criteria for quality assurance purposes. We recommend recertification for designers whose TAP  Certificate in e-Learning Design was issued three or more years ago and who are without access to an internal Certified TAP e-Learning Design Assessor.

This approach to quality assurance was uniquely recognised by TAP's second Queen’s Award for Innovation, awarded for ‘innovation in the Quality Assurance of Learning & Development’, and is a vital step towards professionalising learning and development.

Recertification of e-Learning design every three years ensures currency with new learning techniques and technologies and ensures that TAP e-Learning Design Standards continue to be embedded within learning solutions. Every three years candidates submit an e-Learning module that will be assessed against the TAP methodology.
