Awards Event another success!

On the 22nd July, The Training Foundation held a successful Awards Event to celebrate the achievements of its proud learners.

Commemorative certificates were awarded for completion of the Diploma in Learning Facilitation, the Diploma in Blended Learning and the Trainer of Choice programme. The presentations were made by Frances Day, Director of Learning.

A photographer was in attendance to capture everyone’s moment of glory and the key moments were video’d to provide a record of the day.

The event was attended by Nick Mitchell, the Chief Executive of the Training Foundation, who gave an interesting speech on how the training industry is faring in the current economic climate, and ideas for overcoming the challenges being presented.

Marie Dolan spoke passionately about Trainer of Choice and her involvement in the development of it. This new programme is essential for the development of trainers’ self-awareness and explores engagement with learners on an emotional level.

The attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet their peers, along with the trainers and staff from The Training Foundation who had supported them along their learning journey. The delicious buffet lunch was also much appreciated, and the glass of fizz that accompanied it!
