Getting Your Message Across


Introduction

A trainer is an advocate for change – be this cultural, process or system change. Understanding the roots of learner resistance and handling individuals or groups that are resistant requires skills over and above those normally used in training. Delegates will learn how to manage their own emotional state as well as the emotional state of those people who are negative or discontent. They will learn techniques, some of which have their roots in NLP, for changing attitudes in a subtle way.

Delegates will also learn skills for building rapport on a one-to-one basis and maintaining rapport within a group. Delegates will learn how to influence those who initially present with a negative attitude to achieve a positive outcome.
