Diploma in Learning and Development

Introduction

The Diploma in Learning and Development is a substantive professional qualification. Students undertake a programme of learning which is designed to evidence skills in 21 areas of competence.

The curriculum comprises around 120 hours of overall classroom instruction and course project work, together with some 60 hours for completion of a mentored, selfpaced, work-based project.

Benefits

The Diploma in Learning and Development is relevant for all trainers, whether starting out on a training career (in which case they will follow the entire programme) or whether already experienced in some or all of the individual certified roles; delivery, facilitation or training design (in which case they may receive credit for previous TAP certifications).

Trainers holding another foundation certification (such as CTP) will benefit by upgrading their skills through the Diploma programme and will qualify for fast-tracking.
