The complexity and technical nature of many products and services today means that subject experts, outside the central training team, are often used to develop and deliver technical training - either through formal training sessions or by informal, work-based coaching and support. Examples include health & safety, induction and product training etc.
Most employers have such needs, yet many believe that all that's needed to train others is subject matter expertise. This is a mistake - key training skills make all the difference.
