Based in North Yorkshire, Lightning Training is directly owned and managed by Sheena Whyatt.  Lightning Training is a Microsoft Registered Partner, currently working towards Certified Partner status. 

Sheena has extensive experience in managing trainers, training programmes, training needs analysis projects, training delivery, courseware development and projects over the last 12 years, mainly in the end user applications field. Sheena is a full Member of the Institute of IT Management, which recognises trainers and those in a management or consultancy role who have a demonstrable track record of excellence with associated certification. In keeping with membership of the Institute, she has a rounded set of skills combined with validated experience and measurable achievement of business objectives.

She has excellent courseware design and development expertise, combined with full cycle training needs analysis, training programme design and delivery skills – and is also a qualified assessor.

In addition to these skills, Sheena is an experienced and enthusiastic TAP qualified Microsoft Certified Trainer, holding instructional qualifications in Office 2007, 2003, XP & Office 2000. She is confident with all forms of instructional delivery, from classroom led and one to one tuition to demonstration seminars and large groups. Sheena specialises in delivering high quality, professional training, and has Train the Trainer, CRM, bespoke application, soft skills, and non-Microsoft experience to offer as well as floor walking and rollout project experience. 

In 2008, she became one of the first 10 certified Office 2007 Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist Instructors in the UK, and a National Training Ambassador.
