NATS provides air traffic control services to aircraft flying in UK airspace, and over the eastern part of the North Atlantic.

This year NATS will handle more than 2.4 million flights carrying over 220 million passengers. Safety is NATS' first and foremost priority but we also aim to provide our service in an efficient and cost-effective way.

NATS’ Technical Training Services provides our engineers with the skills and expertise to maintain our Air Traffic Control Systems. We also deliver Business Systems training to all NATS employees.

Technical Training Services is adopting TAP as the standard to which all our engineering and business systems trainers are certified, independently recognising their delivery quality.
 
By the end of 2008, all NATS’ Technical and Business Systems trainers will have completed either training delivery skills or delivery skills refresher courses leading to the TAP Certificate in Training Delivery Skills.  In addition a number of trainers will complete the TAP Assessor programme.

NATS TTS is proactive in encouraging its trainers to be the best they can be.
