NHS Forth Valley -   eHealth Programme Office –                                    Training Team

Forth Valley, situated in the heart of Scotland, has a population of nearly 300,000 and covers a geographic area from Killin and Tyndrum in the North and Strathblane and Bo'ness in the South.

NHS Forth Valley is a single integrated system comprising acute hospital services, and community based services which are delivered through three Community Health Partnerships in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling.

NHS Forth Valley employs around 8000 staff from a wide range of professional and support occupations in two acute hospitals Stirling Royal Infirmary and Falkirk & District Royal Infirmary, six community hospitals and 56 health centres.  Forth Valley Royal acute hospital is due to open in the summer of 2010 bringing 21st Century healthcare to the people of Forth Valley.

The eHealth Programme Office training team comprises of 11 trainer/facilitators led by Colin Smith, Training Manager.  The team provides IT training and support across Acute, General Practice and Community sites throughout Forth Valley.
