The South West Strategic Health Authority is accountable for the performance of the NHS in the South West.

Our role is to ensure the NHS in the South West is run effectively and that NHS services, staff and organisations are developed to meet the needs of the future.

The South West Strategic Health Authority has three main roles:

• The strategic leadership of the NHS in South West England.
• The development of NHS organisations and NHS staff in the South West.
• Ensuring the local NHS operates effectively and delivers improved health and healthcare performance.

The Trainer Assessment Programme e-learning programme has ensured that the organisation implements and facilitates our online training effectively and to recognised quality standards. Skills acquired using the TAP methods ensure that our online learning is both enjoyable and achieves a business focussed outcome.
