The University of Glamorgan’s Corporate Training Team is part of the Information Systems Department within Learning & Corporate Support Services.  The department provides ICT and learning support to staff and students.

The Corporate Training Team is comprised of 5 trainers that support the roll out and ongoing use of critical business systems and related processes across the University. The team works closely with the Staff Development Unit (HR), project and development teams as well as business process owners to ensure effective, proactive and timely learning solutions are developed and delivered in support of the University’s Strategic Objectives.

The Corporate Training Team is committed to designing and delivering exceptional systems training to help the University support its customers and staff members.  Training is developed to ensure staff feel confident and able to perform their roles to the best of their ability.  Using the TAP methodology and principles has resulted in more creative learning solutions that increase participation and engagement.  This interactive method of learning has been welcomed by staff members and has helped the transfer of skills and learning into the workplace
