Session two: The set-up

In this session, we consider:

  • The structure of mentoring programme
  • Elements to discuss when starting the programme

Session three: The MENTOR model

In this session, we consider:

  • The structure of mentoring discussions
  • Questions to ask at each phase of the mentoring discussion
  • Motivating the mentee
  • Useful sources of support
  • Development activities

Session four: Goal setting

In this session, we consider:

  • An introduction to goal setting
  • Considerations for goal setting
  • Five principles of goal setting

Session five: Giving feedback

In this session, we consider:

  • The 5-step feedback process
  • Feedback tips
