We prefer to work with you as a trusted partner to understand your development needs which allows us to recommend the most cost-effective solution. We can discuss the potential opportunity to take out a TAP Skills Licence, joining public events at various locations or to arrange onsite events and TAP Diploma packages. We pride ourselves in providing value for money.

If you are self-funding your development, you are entitled to a 10% discount off our RRP.

Will I achieve the same learning outcomes from the online courses as I would on the classroom courses?

Will I achieve the same learning outcomes from the online courses as I would on the classroom courses?

Yes. The learning outcomes for our digital modules are the same as the face to face equivalent programme.

How long do I have to complete an online self-study course?

How long do I have to complete an online self-study course?

Ideally we ask you to aim to complete your online course within 3 months of purchasing, but the timescale is open-ended allowing learners to study at their own pace.

How do the blended courses work?

How do the blended courses work?

A course is considered blended when various elements of the course are delivered using different tools or in environments. Your blended course will be divided into parts, weeks or modules. We refer to these as Part 1, 2, 3 etc. All of these parts make up the whole course. If you have any more questions on how they work, please check your joining instructions or get in touch.

Joining instructions are sent out to delegates attending the course via email around 4 weeks before the course start date. Delegates will receive access to the TAP Academy which holds all preparation work and useful course resources.

We have laptops or PCs for you to use during the course. You might prefer to bring your own laptop too during the course or to do relevant evening work.

That's ok. Simply email us and we'll forward them to you.

Is there preparation work/evening work involved?

Is there preparation work/evening work involved?

Some of our TAP programmes require you to complete evening work during the course and/or preparation work beforehand, or to think about a topic or project of choice which could even be relevant to a live piece of work you are involved with. These details will be provided in your joining instructions.

What if I can’t complete all my preparation before the course?

It's really important that you complete any preparation before the start of the course as it's designed to help you get the best result from the course. However, we understand that life and logistics can get in the way sometimes. Our venues open at 8.30 am and have quiet areas where you can work to put the finishing touches to what you have started.

It is recommended if you are participating in any of the digital courses that you spend 5 minutes carrying out a system check. You can arrange a convenient time with to talk through this with one of our trainers by clicking here.

After the Course

Approximately 2 weeks following your successful course completion of your course and any assignments and upon receipt of payment.

Your facilitator will give you all the support and tools that you need to be successful. If you need additional support, we'll agree a development plan with you.

What will I have to reinforce my learning?

Reinforcing learning is critical to making sure it 'sticks' and is transferred, that's why we offer access to the TAP Academy which is full of tools, tips and templates to help you back at work. We also recommend that you have a meeting with your manager pre and post the learning intervention.

If you have internal qualified TAP Assessors, why not get them to come and do some observations to help embed your new skills?
