TAP Training Delivery and Design models were launched. Public and Private sectors became early adopters of the programme with Tesco, Barclays and the NHS being some of the first to jump on board.

Facilitation, Coaching and e-Learning certificates were introduced to the portfolio.

The Learning & Skills Council recognised TAP methodologies and Michael Stark, Head of Workforce Development from the Learning & Skills Council recommended that all their trainers were to be TAP qualified to guarantee consistency.

The Training Foundation was awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation for TAP's objective best-practise training standards. HRH Princess Royal came to The Training Foundation to present the award.

The TAP Diploma Framework was launched.

The TAP Assessor Programme was introduced allowing organisations to internally quality assure their training practices to TAP standards.

The British Institute for Learning & Development announced that all applicants for membership were required to hold a TAP Qualification.

On HRH The Queen’s 90th birthday, The Training Foundation was awarded with their second Queens Award for Enterprise: Innovation for the TAP Assessor Programme.

In November, The Training Foundation was acquired by QA Ltd, the leading provider of learning services to both the public and private sectors, offering training, education and consultancy services to a diverse client base.
